Scene 1: Creating a Better Way to Train Your Employees

Having spent years in large organizations in the areas of security, risk, and compliance, we know training can be a pain and at times ineffective for your employees. That's why we built Xydeo – engaging, effective, and efficient online training - without the pain.

What pain you ask? The pain of being pulled away from your job for an hour only to “mentally checkout” while the trainer drones on or you click through the endless online slide deck as quickly as possible and hope you can pass the test at the end. We think companies and their employees deserve better, so we set out to change that and designed Xydeo.

Scene 2: Out With The Old…In With The New!

What makes us different? First, our fresh approach to training works well for most people. While the traditional “slide” approach is easy to produce, people are not wired to learn and retain information from endless slides and “talking heads”. So why invest in training that is generally ineffective?

Second, people pay attention to stories and information that they are interested in. When was the last time you heard co-workers talking about yesterday's ethics or safety training? No, they are talking about American Idol, 30 Rock, or Inception.

It's funny, we remember more about things that really don't matter than we do about things that can cause us major headaches. So, how about putting the information people really need to know in an interesting format? With Xydeo this is what we have built – training that is always relevant and never boring.
